Hamilton's Men's Hair Systems
Losing your hair doesn't mean losing your confidence
Discreet, professional men's hair replacement in the heart of Redruth. A natural result designed to blend seamlessly with your existing hair, restore density and still look completely natural — individually matched, fitted, cut and styled to suit you, in a private room, by the same barbers who cut hair here every day.
Non-Surgical
Nothing implanted and no procedure — a hair system is worn, matched and maintained in the barber's chair.
Matched To You
Colour, texture and density are matched to your own hair so the system sits with it rather than against it.
Cut & Styled In-Shop
Fitted, cut and styled at Hamilton's, then looked after with ongoing maintenance appointments.
Private & Discreet
Consultations, fittings and maintenance all take place in a private room away from the shop floor.

Transformations done in this chair
Genuine before and after work from Hamilton's Men's Hair Systems clients — partial and full systems, matched, fitted, cut and styled in the shop.

Partial or full
Two starting points, one conversation
Systems come as partial or full. We don't decide which is right from a photo or a phone call — it's something we look at together at your consultation.
Partial Systems
For hair loss across part of the scalp where you still have hair to work with.
- · Covers the area you want addressed rather than the whole scalp
- · Blended into your existing hair at the sides and back
- · Matched to the colour and texture of the hair around it
Full Systems
For more extensive hair loss, where a full system is the better starting point.
- · Covers the full top area rather than a section of it
- · Hairline shaped and positioned during the fitting
- · Cut and styled in the chair like a normal haircut
Free consultation
What happens at your private consultation
The consultation is a conversation, not a sales pitch. It's free, it's private and there's no obligation to book anything on the day.
- · A private, unhurried chat about what's happening with your hair and what you'd like to change
- · A look at partial and full options so you can see the difference between them
- · How a system is matched, fitted, cut and styled at Hamilton's
- · What wearing and maintaining a system involves day to day
- · Any questions you want to ask — nothing is decided on the day
The fitting journey
From matching to the finished style
01
Colour & Texture Matching
Your system is matched to your own hair — colour, texture, wave and density — so it reads as part of the same head of hair.
02
Fitting
The system is fitted in the private room and the hairline is positioned and shaped so the front sits naturally and comfortably.
03
Cutting
Once fitted, it's cut into your existing hair and blended through the sides and back, exactly as we would with any cut.
04
Styling
Finished and styled the way you actually want to wear it, with a run-through of how to get the same finish at home.
What to expect
Honest expectations, no fixed promises
Maintenance varies from person to person
How often a system needs attention depends on the individual, the type of system and how it's worn. We'll talk through what to expect for your situation at the consultation rather than quoting a fixed schedule.
Replacement varies too
Systems don't last forever, and how long yours lasts depends on the system and on daily wear. Replacement is planned around you rather than a set timetable.
It's an ongoing service, not a one-off
A system is looked after with regular appointments at the shop — refitting, cleaning and re-blending as your own hair grows.
Aftercare
Looking after your system
General guidance only — you'll be shown what applies to your own system at your fitting, and we're always happy to go over it again at a maintenance appointment.
- · Keep to the maintenance appointments agreed with your barber
- · Follow the care routine you're shown at your fitting
- · Be gentle when washing, drying and brushing
- · Use the products recommended for your system rather than guessing
- · Let us know early if anything feels loose, uncomfortable or different
- · Bring styling questions to your appointment — we'd rather show you in person
Discreet by design
A private room, your pace
Hair loss is personal, so everything to do with your system happens away from the main shop floor. Consultations, fittings and maintenance appointments all take place in a private room — there's no audience and no pressure.
If you'd rather ask a few questions before coming in, message us on Facebook or give the shop a call and we'll talk it through first.

Hair systems FAQ
Common questions
Is a hair system surgery?
No. It's a completely non-surgical option — nothing is implanted and there's no procedure involved.
Will it look obvious?
The system is individually matched to your own hair and then cut and styled in the chair so it blends with the hair you already have.
What's the difference between a partial and a full system?
A partial system covers part of the scalp and is blended into the hair you still have. A full system covers the full top area. Which one makes sense is something we work out together at the consultation.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. The consultation is free, private and comes with no obligation to book anything afterwards.
Where does the appointment take place?
In a private room at the shop, away from the main barbering floor — for consultations, fittings and maintenance alike.
How often will I need to come in?
That varies from person to person and by system, so we'll talk it through with you rather than promising a fixed interval.
How long does a system last?
It depends on the system and on how it's worn day to day. We'll be straight with you about what to expect at the consultation.
How do I arrange a consultation?
